Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer - Retail to provide outstanding customer service and grow mortgage business through internal and external referrals. The role involves advising clients on loan options and coordinating with loan origination sources to complete underwriting requirements.

Responsibilities include developing referral networks, cross-selling financial products, and maintaining client relationships from application to closing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1+ years of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
NMLS license is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred (advantageous).
Knowledge of mortgage loan products and underwriting guidelines is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Develops new and expands internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
Advises clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling.
Provides excellent customer service from approval through closing with underwriting support.
Maintains client relationships and completes loan applications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
