West Capital Lending is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to join our remote team, primarily serving clients in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have an active Loan Originator license, strong knowledge of mortgage products, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator preferred.
• Knowledgeable in residential lending.
• Comfortable managing the loan process from application through closing.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans of various types.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process.
• Analyze borrower financials for appropriate loan recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all loan file requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting for timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines and market trends.
