Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a producing mortgage loan officer.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze personal financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of loan programs and policy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to determine financial position and repayment ability.
• Collect and analyze documentation for loan approval.
• Review loan products to recommend best fit for the customer.
• Maintain client information through loan operating system and related software.
• Develop relationships with referral sources to grow mortgage portfolio.
• Approve loans by examining applications and supporting documentation.
• Oversee loan process from origination to closing and coordinate with all parties.
