Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Iowa is seeking a Mortgage Desk Processor I to manage disclosures, redisclosures, and lock/secondary desk tasks. The role requires attention to detail and strong judgement amid market movements and loan characteristics.

It is an hourly position with a progressive benefits package and requires the ability to work across desks as needed. The candidate will handle rate lock requests, communicate with investors, and contribute to hedged pipeline reporting while supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related financial experience.
• Bondable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily management of disclosures, redisclosures, and lock/secondary desks.
• Ensure accuracy of rate lock requests and pricing.
• Communicate with investors and brokers about fees and discrepancies.
• Prepare hedged pipeline reports and maintain rate sheets.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Support training for Mortgage Loan Officers and Mortgage Associates.
