Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Mortgage Loan Advisor to work with the Senior Loan Officer and Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and learn various aspects of a loan originator role. You will originate 1-4 family residential mortgage loans, develop referrals, and cross-sell bank products to strengthen OCR relationships.

Responsibilities include loan origination, business development with COIs, pipeline management, and cross-selling within the bank to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NMLS Certification.
• 6 months or more related experience in the financial service industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or 12-24 months of financial or sales related experience.
• Experience working in, or with, a retail banking office.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Loan Origination: Achieve mortgage loan production goals through the origination of 1-4 residential mortgage loans.
• Business Development: Conduct business development activities with internal and external COIs to grow the business.
• Pipeline Management/Quality/Customer Service: Provide exceptional service and meet closing expectations; ensure file quality and accuracy.
• Cross Sell: Participate in OCR activities to grow customer share of wallet; develop internal and external relationships.
