Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in rotating machinery, vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, and predictive maintenance. The role emphasizes review of P&ID, instrument lists, PFDs, and data sheets, with RCA leadership and data-driven reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with System 1, AVEVA PRiSM, GE SmartSignal, and Emerson AMS, and can develop anomaly reports and actionable recommendations to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of upstream/downstream rotary machines and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to review P&ID, instrument lists, PFDs and data sheets.
• Develop anomaly reports, identify causes and provide recommendations.
• Expertise in vibration analysis and rotor dynamics.
• Ability to interpret multi-parameter data (vibration, process, seal).
• Develop predictive maintenance strategies and improve MTBF.

Responsibilities

• Review P&ID, instrument lists, PFDs and data sheets.
• Analyze vibration data and machine faults to propose root causes.
• Develop anomaly reports and actionable recommendations.
• Perform RCAs for major breakdowns and document findings.
• Interpret multi-parameter data for process improvement and reliability.
• Lead data analytics initiatives for predictive maintenance and MTBF optimization.
• Utilize System 1, AVEVA PRiSM, GE SmartSignal, Emerson AMS tools.
