Job summary

Quest Global, a leading engineering services provider, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on upstream and downstream rotary machines and to review P&IDs, data sheets, and instrument lists. You will develop anomaly reports, diagnose faults, and recommend solutions to improve reliability.

The role emphasizes advanced vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, oil analysis, and multi-parameter data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of working and maintenance procedures of upstream and downstream rotary machines (1+).
• Familiar with monitoring tools like System 1, AVEVA PRiSM, GE SmartSignal, Emerson AMS.
• Experience in vibration-based condition monitoring and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical engineer with experience in maintenance of upstream & downstream rotary machines (reciprocating/centrifugal compressors, gas turbine, steam turbine, blowers, motors, pumps, generators).
• Review P&ID, instrument lists, PFDs and data sheets.
• Develop anomaly reports, diagnose machine faults, provide causes and recommendations.
• Perform vibration analysis and assist on rotor dynamics and oil analysis.
• Develop predictive maintenance strategies and analyze trends to improve MTBF and reduce downtime.
• Perform RCA for major breakdowns and utilize data analytics tools.
• Expert in data analytics tool usage for condition monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Mechanical engineer with experience in working and maintenance of Upstream & Downstream rotary machines(Reciprocating/Centrifugal Compressors, Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Blowers, Motor, Pumps, Generators etc).
• 2. Engineer shall be competent to review P&ID, instrument list, PFDs and data sheets.
• 3. Engineer shall be able to develop anomaly Report, understand Machine fault, provide possible causes & recommendation.
• 4. ISO Category II/III Vibration analyst.
• 5. Strong expertise in advanced vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, oil analysis and thermal imaging.
• 6. Good knowledge in interpreting multi parameter data (vibration, process, seal etc)
• 7. Develop predictive maintenance strategies
• 8. Analyze trends to improve MTBF and reduce unplanned downtime.
• 9. Perform RCA for major breakdown.
• 10. Expert in data analytics tool.
