Job summary

Cox Automotive’s Manheim Mobile Inspections team is hiring across three levels in the Lancaster, CA area. Positions are remote with an assigned territory, requiring valid driver's license and basic automotive knowledge.

Level 1, Level 2, and Senior roles offer tiered hourly pay and performance incentives based on inspection volume. As a Mobile Inspector, you will conduct on-site vehicle inspections, document condition, and engage dealer clients to grow participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred (Level 1).
• 1-2 years of automotive-related experience preferred (Level 2).
• 5+ years of related field experience preferred (Senior).

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site vehicle inspections and document condition.
• Verify VIN, mileage, options, and document exterior/interior condition.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
• Utilize inspection standards and safety procedures.
• Engage dealer clients to grow participation in mobile inspections.
