Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking Mobile Inspectors – Level 2 for a remote role with an assigned territory. Candidates must live in Irvine CA or within a 10 mile radius. Hourly pay range is $19.90–$29.81, with monthly and quarterly incentives and vehicle-use reimbursements.

Roles involve on-site vehicle inspections, client engagement, and territory management. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in a related field, with 1–2 years automotive experience preferred and a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• 1–2 years of automotive-related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct detailed and complex vehicle inspections
• Manage daily inspection schedules efficiently across dealer locations
• Build strong working relationships with dealer clients
• Utilize data and insights to expand inspection volume and efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration
