Cox Automotive is hiring a Manheim Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector at the Mobile Inspector – Level 1 level. This on‑site/remote allowed role requires inspecting dealer vehicles within a defined territory, documenting condition to Manheim standards, and engaging with dealer clients to grow participation in mobile inspection services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred.
• 0–1 years automotive-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect exterior and interior condition and document components.
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Identify and document damage or missing components.
