Job summary

Cox Automotive’s Manheim Mobile Inspection team is seeking an entry-/mid-level Mobile Inspector to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections across dealer client lots within an assigned territory. This role emphasizes accurate documentation, dealer relationships, and brand representation for Cox Automotive.

The position offers pathways across Level 1, Level 2, and Senior levels with escalating hourly pay and incentives, plus a safety-conscious, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role learning Manheim inspection standards, tools, and client engagement practices.
• 0-1 years automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections per Manheim inspection standards.
• Document exterior, interior, and mechanical conditions.
• Verify VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports.
• Use Salesforce.com for reporting, lead management, and customer performance tracking.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Specialists and other Manheim teams to support client success.
• Maintain safety and compliance with standards.
