Job summary

GD Mobile Truck Repair Inc is seeking a skilled Semi-Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our roadside team in Syracuse, NY. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic for semi-trucks or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, etc.).
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred; own tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside diagnosis and repair of semi-trucks/trailers and commercial diesel vehicles
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and suspension systems on-site
• Conduct preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
• Respond to emergency roadside service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs performed
• Ensure all work meets DOT compliance and safety standards
