Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Applications Engineer – Mobile Controls to support OEM customers in the Western United States. This remote role requires residency in the West region and offers strong autonomy to influence solutions from concept to implementation.

You will act as the technical expert for electronic controls, displays, sensors, and electrohydraulic solutions, collaborating with customers and internal teams to specify products and resolve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with electronic controls or electrohydraulic systems for mobile/on-highway equipment.
• Strong understanding of controllers, HMIs, displays, sensors, and CAN communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for electronic controls and electrohydraulic solutions across the Western Region.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to assess requirements and propose solutions.
• Support OEMs with product selection, integration, troubleshooting, and implementation.
• Deliver guidance on controllers, displays, sensors, wiring, and hardware integration.
• Lead design reviews, product demos, and application discussions with customers.
• Develop technical proposals and solution presentations for customers.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to support projects.
• Provide training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Travel about 25% across the Western U.S. as needed.
