Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the large-scale MMIS implementation in Baltimore, MD. You will drive end-to-end modernization, coordinating state Medicaid stakeholders, CMS certification processes, and multiple vendors.

The ideal candidate has PMP certification, 7–10 years IT project management experience with 5 years in MMIS or Medicaid modernization, and exceptional communication skills to present complex concepts to executives.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required.
• 7–10 years IT project management experience.
• 5+ years focused on MMIS or Medicaid modernization.
• Strong communication skills to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive MMIS implementation from initiation through deployment and stabilization.
• Serve as primary liaison between state Medicaid agencies, CMS, vendors and internal units.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and resource allocations.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues to avoid delays or scope creep.
• Guide CMS certification processes (OBC/SMC) for the project.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and ensure SLA and contract compliance.
