Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Manager for Core Ads Ranking to shape and scale foundational models and deep user understanding across ads verticals. You will lead a team responsible for end-to-end ML lifecycle, model development, and collaboration with partner teams to drive impactful A/B tested innovations.

The role requires strong leadership, a strategic vision for ML systems, and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in ML teams and projects.
• 6+ years of building and scaling ML models with state-of-the-art techniques.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch and end-to-end ML lifecycle.
• Experience with foundational models and ads is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set Technical Vision and Strategy: Define and execute a roadmap for foundational models and user understanding.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with vertical and horizontal teams to align on direction and constraints.
• Drive Technical Execution: Oversee the ML lifecycle from ideation to deployment with high reliability.
• Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and retain top ML talent.
