Reddit is hiring a senior ML leader to define and execute the roadmap for foundational models and user understanding. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align on direction, strategy, and priorities, while guiding the model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.

You will mentor a high-performing ML team, recruit top talent, and drive technical excellence in a fast-growing environment with access to cutting-edge research and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and scaling machine learning models and working with state-of-the-art ML models.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• End-to-End ML Lifecycle experience: training, evaluating, and deploying large-scale models.
• Experience with foundational models and user/content understanding; ads experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set Technical Vision and Strategy: define and execute a roadmap for foundational models and user understanding.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with vertical/horizontal teams to align on direction and priorities.
• Drive Technical Execution: oversee model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment with high ML standards.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing ML team, attracting and retaining top talent.
