iQuasar LLC is seeking an experienced ML Engineer for a remote contract position. You will develop, train, and optimize ML models, integrate with data pipelines, and support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across data sources.

You will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment, mentoring teammates and contributing to architectural decisions while adhering to best practices in ML engineering and software delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, ML, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks for data processing and ML workflows.
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, data validation, and working with structured and semi‑structured data.
• Familiarity with ML model deployment, REST APIs, and integration with data pipelines.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for source control; CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Understanding ML evaluation metrics, testing methodologies, and monitoring.
• Clean, maintainable Python code; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Solve complex technical problems using Appian and supporting platforms
• Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews
• Design and develop business logic, process models/flows, and UI screens in a BPM-based system
• Provide technical leadership to Agile development teams
• Design architectural frameworks using industry-standard methodologies
• Resolve systems integration issues and present material to senior client leadership
• Develop, train, and optimize ML models for predictive analytics and classification
• Evaluate model performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Support scalable ML capabilities and data pipelines across sources
• Assist with deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD improvements
