Job summary

iQuasar, LLC seeks an AI/ML Engineer to join its Engineering team responsible for cloud-based applications on DoD platform environments. This hybrid role requires a strong background in AI/ML model development, data processing, and securing government-grade systems.

The engineer will design, train, test, and deploy models at enterprise scale, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with Public Trust/US Citizen requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, data science, software engineering, or deployment of AI/ML systems.
• Experience building, training, and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software developers, and domain experts.
• Experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis to prepare datasets for AI modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models for enterprise and Government applications.
• Develop and operationalize production AI/ML solutions with reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data for model development and evaluation.
• Evaluate AI technologies, models, tools, frameworks, and architectures for complex Federal Government use cases.
• Apply AI techniques to real-world problems across a large enterprise and government environments.
• Develop and support Generative AI/LLM solutions, including prompts, classifiers, and safety controls.
• Evaluate outputs for accuracy, grounding, bias, and reliability before VA integration.
• Design and execute model evaluation and validation methodologies including benchmarks.
