Job summary

Affid offers a 12-16 week internship where you will contribute to meaningful engineering projects and ship code in production. You’ll work with a dedicated mentor, meet regularly for feedback, and participate in intern events with the full team. The program is remote-friendly with US-wide opportunities.

Interns should have experience in Python, C/C++ or Java, web frontend with JavaScript/AngularJS/React, and familiarity with AWS or other PaaS. End-of-program presentations are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, C/C++ or Java.
• Frontend experience in WebApps/JavaScript/AngularJS/React.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with object oriented programming.
• Deployment and testing frameworks.
• API development/documentation.
• AWS or other PaaS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship a project and verify it works in production.
• Collaborate with a mentor to spec a project contributing to the team.
• Attend events with other interns and full-time Affid team.
• Present your work to the engineering organization at the internship end.
