Job summary

AMP Robotics is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Perception team, focusing on developing deep learning models and shipping them to production. You will contribute to state-of-the-art computer vision work and collaborate across the AI/Data teams.

The role requires 3+ years in Python production code, PyTorch DL experience, and a Master’s in CS/ML or equivalent. Remote/hybrid with travel to our Louisville, CO HQ is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in CS/ML or related field.
• 3+ years of production-level Python coding experience.
• 3+ years implementing statistical models in production.
• Strong engineering practices: version control, testing, CI/CD.
• Proficiency with PyTorch and DL research fluency.
• Experience with ML deployment and inference tooling.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and implement deep learning perception solutions.
• Experiment with modern neural architectures and publishable techniques.
• Design experiments to validate R&D approaches.
• Develop paths from research to production delivering impact.
• Collaborate with AI Data Team managers and Cloud infra engineers.
• Serve as SME for experiment design and statistical modeling.
• Contribute to ML infrastructure improvements.
