Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help build scalable ML platforms and workflows supporting drug discovery and development. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to productionize AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms.

This role offers growth in MLOps, CI/CD, infra as code, and model lifecycle management, with remote-work eligibility in the U.S. and a comprehensive total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of CS/IT/engineering experience
• Associate’s degree + 6 years of CS/IT/engineering experience
• High school diploma + 8 years in CS/IT/engineering field

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI and ML-enabled applications with models ranging from classical ML to NLP and large language models.
• Develop and maintain ML platform capabilities including data pipelines, feature engineering, training, evaluation and deployment pipelines.
• Implement AI/ML Ops best practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, traceability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition experiments into production-grade solutions.
• Build scalable, productionized MLOps solutions on cloud platforms.
• Create training content and knowledge articles for model lifecycle management.
