Base pay range

$145,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Our client at Artificial Intelligence works staffing inc. is a technology consultancy company powering many enterprises building accessible and scalable AI solutions across healthcare. Our client company develops machine learning solutions for healthcare enterprises, focusing on clinical decision support, patient risk stratification, and medical data processing. Our clients include enterprises who want to build custom AI solutions.

Position Summary

Many of our team members have grown from short-term roles into full-time leads on client-facing projects in less than 12 months. We’re looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist. This is a full-time role, across the full data lifecycle — from cleaning raw data to building and evaluating models. You’ll be exposed to different aspects of applied AI, including structured and unstructured data, experimentation design, feature engineering, and dashboard/report development. You won’t just shadow — you’ll actively contribute to tools and solutions that are either used internally or directly deployed into client workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore, clean, and preprocess data from a variety of domains and formats (mostly textual and tabular data) Support data pipeline development using Python and/or SQL.
• Assist in training, validating, and tuning machine learning models (scikit-learn, XGBoost, Pytorch etc.)
• Collaborate with other data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts
• Summarize and present findings in ways that are accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Help automate and document common analysis processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, or another data-oriented programming language
• Experience in data science, machine learning, or statistics
• Excellent with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, and advanced visualization.
• Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL to organize and manipulate data.
• Excellent with CNNs and regression models.
• Having completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics.
• Able to independently manage tasks and take initiative in a remote team environment.
• Competitive compensation package , with total compensation range $145,000–$170,000
• Opportunity to transition into a long-term position.
• Regular, quarterly in person meet up of the Data science team in our San Francisco office.
