Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Software Engineer, Mission Systems to design and deliver software supporting airborne, ground, and cloud systems in a demanding aviation environment. You will contribute across the stack, from embedded to application software, prioritizing reliability in R&D and production contexts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (CS/engineering) or equivalent experience.
2+ years of systems-level programming in Rust or C++.
Experience deploying software in Linux environments with networking and containers.
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

Define system architecture for integrated airborne, ground, and cloud solutions.
Develop, debug, and deploy software from embedded systems to application layers.
Integrate complex third‑party hardware and software into the autonomy platform.
Ensure software systems perform reliably in R&D and production contexts.
Support daily operations of the autonomy system.
