Job summary

Alabama Connections Academy is seeking certified teachers to manage online instructional programs for K–12 students. From our Athens office or your home in Alabama, you will consult with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of lessons using telephone, Internet, and curriculum tools.

You will organize testing, participate in professional development trainings, complete grading, generate progress reports, maintain records, and support both asynchronous and synchronous

Qualifications

• Must reside in Alabama and be appropriately certified to teach in Alabama.
• Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online instruction to K–12 students using various curriculum tools.
• Consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure program completion.
• Maintain records, attendance, and progress reports with timely parent conferences.
• Collaborate with teachers, leaders, and families to tailor learning plans.
