Job summary

Washington Connections Academy is seeking a certified Middle School Math Teacher for a remote, full-time role. You will manage instructional programs and work closely with caretakers, Learning Coaches, and students to ensure successful completion of the program.

This position welcomes applicants from Washington, Oregon, or Idaho and requires delivering LiveLessons weekly, collaborating with instructional staff, and maintaining timely feedback and student progress.

Qualifications

• Requires Washington K-8 Elementary Ed or Math certification.
• Residence in Washington preferred.
• Strong tech skills with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Nearpod.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Host weekly homeroom LiveLessons and mentor students throughout the year.
• Support families with Welcome Calls, Intent to Return, and progress checks.
• Deliver at least one synchronous LiveLesson per course weekly and provide asynchronous support videos.
• Use MTSS data to provide Tier 1 instruction and collaborate with instructional staff.
• Communicate regularly with caretakers, students, and staff; monitor student progress.
