Job summary

Connections Education LLC is seeking a certified Middle School Math Teacher for New Mexico Connections Academy. You will teach from home, manage grades and progress reports, and conduct conferences with families to support student success.

Applicants must hold NM secondary 6-12 or K-8 math endorsement and demonstrate strong technology, communication, and collaboration skills to support a virtual learning program for grades 4-12 across the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed to teach Middle School Mathematics in New Mexico.
• Secondary 6-12 license or K8 license with math endorsement.
• Proficient with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Customer-focused approach and high flexibility.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events.
• Ability to work remotely and some evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Grade student work, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Support instruction with asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
• Review curriculum and adapt lessons to improve understanding.
• Communicate with parents, students, and teachers to update learning plans.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure timely progression of students.
• Develop knowledge of the program's K-12 curriculum and the specific courses taught.
• Assist with daily assignments, projects, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain student records and communication logs.
• Support with field trips and school community activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
