Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Engineer, Mid, to help modernize client IT infrastructures by setting up cloud environments, provisioning networks, storage and virtual networks, and automating deployments.

You will work with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling to build secure, scalable pipelines, defend compliance, and support secure, high-availability services across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with software development.
• 2+ years of experience building and administering compute instances and services in the cloud and on-premises for development, test, and production environments.
• Experience with container orchestration and application containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience scripting, testing, and deploying new versions of cloud services and infrastructure, including design and management of automation playbooks such as Ansible.
• Experience developing tools, services, processes, and workflows to ensure DevOps pipelines are available.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and networking.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools used to build, evaluate, test, and deploy services, including Kubernetes-based distributions.
• Ability to ensure solutions are security compliant.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
