Job summary

Primitive is seeking a mid-level designer for a remote contract role. The position covers social content creation, web page layouts, and print production, with 10-40 hours per week and flexible workload. This is a remote contract opportunity with ongoing renewal potential.

You will collaborate with design directors, account managers, strategists, and other team members to move projects from concept to final files while maintaining brand guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years agency design experience.
• Portfolio with social, web, and print work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Figma a plus.
• Understanding of print production basics and web fundamentals.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design social media graphics across platforms (static and carousel).
• Build web page layouts and assets for client websites from content plans to polished visuals.
• Design print collateral: brochures, signage, packaging, direct mail, etc.
• Support brand guide development and apply brand systems consistently.
• Collaborate with design directors, account managers, strategists, and team members to move projects from concept to final files.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines across different clients and mediums.
• Prepare and package files for print vendors and web developers.
