Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD, and commercial millwork methods, and can coordinate with project managers, engineering, production, and installation teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read architectural and shop drawings.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Proficiency & experience in AutoCAD with Microvellum software.
• Experience in commercial millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industry preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed shop drawings and production drawings using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
• Revise drawings based on client comments, field conditions, and engineering reviews.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement of drafting standards and library components.
• Assist with troubleshooting production or installation issues when required.
• Review project requirements, hardware selections, and construction details.
• Create CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material reports for manufacturing.
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and field dimensions.
• Maintain organized project files, schedules, and revision tracking.
