Origin Utility, Inc. is seeking a Technical Architect to lead hands-on solution design and delivery for U.S. utility clients in a fully remote capacity.

The role focuses on Meter-to-Cash processes, CIS integrations, and OUAF-based applications, with opportunities to grow into SaaS platform infrastructure over time. You will guide technical workstreams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years of experience in utility technology environments.
• Strong hands-on Linux, Oracle OL, and OUAF-based apps.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements technical solutions within Origin’s technology ecosystem, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project constraints, and industry best practices.
• Leads technical workstreams, driving tasks to completion with consistency, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Translates functional requirements into clear technical specifications, integration patterns, and configuration approaches.
• Performs hands-on development, configuration, and troubleshooting as needed to support project delivery.
• Ensures recommendations are converted into actionable steps and works proactively to close technical gaps throughout the project lifecycle.
• Applies analytical thinking to solve complex problems and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
