Job summary

Tejjy Inc. is seeking a skilled MEP Drafter and Designer to join a remote team, focusing on MEP drawings for USA-based residential and commercial projects. You will work with AutoCAD, with Revit as a plus, and ensure compliance with US codes while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong communication in English and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, meeting project deadlines and delivering quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in MEP drafting/design for USA-based projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US MEP codes (NEC, IPC, IMC) and related building codes.
• Excellent English communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop MEP (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (as needed).
• Prepare permit sets and construction documents compliant with US codes, client standards and local building regulations.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams for integrated design.
• Review and incorporate redlines and markups from engineers.
• Perform QA checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in remote coordination meetings with US clients and consultants.
• Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to standard naming conventions.
