Job summary

Lifeline Medical Center in Brighton, MI is seeking an LP/LPC/LCSW Mental Health Counselor/Therapist to provide high-quality therapy to individuals, couples, and families. You will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based treatments, while maintaining ethical standards and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted LP, LPC or LCSW licensure in Michigan.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and client needs.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor and document clients' progress in accordance with clinical and ethical standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, medical personnel, and community resources to provide holistic care.
• Participate in supervision and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
• Stay informed about current research and trends in mental health counseling and integrate this knowledge into practice.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Foster a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for clients.
• Engage in outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness in the community.
