Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and other counselors, to enhance client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health.

You will work primarily with clients who have limited access to mental health services. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
