Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Mendix Development Intern for the Spring 2027 Strategic Student Program in St. Louis, MO.

You will work on an internal Mendix app for social selling workflows, gaining hands-on experience in low-code development and user-centered design within a global organization. You will collaborate with the Social Acquisition team to enhance features, participate in QA, and contribute to documentation and rollout efforts while developing independence on

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Mendix low-code experience through coursework or certification accepted.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of the Mendix app using the Mendix low-code platform
• Assist with building and refining app features, workflows, and UI components based on team requirements
• Participate in QA and testing cycles, identifying and documenting bugs or usability issues
• Collaborate with team members to translate functional requirements into app functionality
• Support documentation efforts related to app features, development decisions, and update logs
• Assist with the rollout of new features or updates, including testing in staging environments
• Contribute to ongoing optimization by reviewing app performance and recommending improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the app meets user needs
• Develop the ability to operate with increasing independence on clearly defined development tasks
