Job summary

Noridian is seeking a Provider Auditor II to conduct CMS and other financial audits to ensure proper Medicare reimbursements. The role interfaces with providers and facilities, demanding professional conduct and deep knowledge of Medicare rules.

The position supports remote and on-site audits, mentoring junior staff, and preparing reports; a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field and 1 year Medicare auditing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of Medicare auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory and practices; proficient with MS Office; Medicare/Medicaid rules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CMS and other financial audits to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Mentor Audit I/II staff and provide coaching.
• Identify opportunities and document improvements.
• Prepare audit workpapers and reports; lead basic audits.
• Collaborate with provider representatives during appeals when needed.

Skills

1-year Medicare auditing experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Medicare/Medicaid regulations

Education
