Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Medicare Policy Analyst to research Medicare payment policies and regulatory changes, organizing updates for customers and communicating with CMS on clarifications. The role supports hospitals, clinics, and doctors to ensure proper payment and compliance.

Required qualifications include healthcare/coding experience and strong data analysis, with ability to work independently or with a team. Remote US location with travel eligibility and relocation support may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 4 years healthcare or medical coding experience, or
• High School Diploma/GED with 8 years healthcare or medical coding experience.
• Experience with health information systems or medical billing and coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS coding practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with team members.

Responsibilities

• Research Medicare payment policies and regulatory changes for the database.
• Prepare and deliver new files and updates to customers.
• Correspond with CMS or payers to clarify policy ambiguities.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve data issues with customers.
• Lead quality assurance and data analyses for built or acquired data.
• Implement solutions to help providers comply with regulations and receive proper payment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to devise solutions for complex challenges.
• Organize and present information to meet client or software needs.
• Contribute ideas to advance team products and processes.
