Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking an Associate on the Membership Operations team to own day-to-day enrollment, billing, and Medicare/Medicaid reconciliation. You will work with CMS, state agencies, and partners to keep member data clean and reconciled across our national Medicare Advantage plan, reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager.

The role emphasizes independent decision-making within procedures, attention to data accuracy, and collaboration across teams to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, Medicare Advantage, enrollment, billing, or data reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume, data-driven work.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines with limited oversight.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate discrepancies in data or payments.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams.
• Curiosity about AI/LLM tools and applying them to operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day enrollment, billing, and reconciliation tasks for Medicare and Medicaid member data and payments.
• Make independent decisions on standard operational activities using established procedures.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve them or escalate to management as needed.
• Apply analytical skills to safeguard data integrity and payment accuracy across the membership lifecycle.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation to support CMS and compliance requirements.
• Spot opportunities to improve workflows within guidelines and share ideas with the team.
• Explore how AI/LLM tools could support data review, exception identification, and pattern detection.
• Collaborate across teammates and cross-functional partners, seeking feedback during process improvements.
• Stay current on operational knowledge, internal systems, and CMS/state regulatory requirements.
