Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medicare Billing Supervisor for a remote role requiring residence in Kentucky or Indiana. The position involves supervisory duties on the floor, audits, training, and managing attendance and productivity while supporting the department manager.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent experience, at least one year in hospital Medicare billing, and strong knowledge of Medicare compliance, LMPRs, APCs, UB92, revenue codes, CPT and HCPCS coding.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5 years in patient accounting with 2 years as a supervisor in lieu of degree.
• One-year hospital Medicare billing experience is required.
• Experience with Medicare compliance, LMRP’s and APC knowledge.
• Understanding UB92, revenue codes, CPT and HCPCS coding is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-floor supervision and leadership within the department.
• Perform employee audits, training, and counseling on attendance and productivity goals.
• Handle incoming calls and emails; attend meetings in the supervisor's absence.
• Support the manager with special projects and process improvements.
• May work extended hours (>40 hours) as needed to meet deadlines.
