Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to support prelaunch and launch activities.

The role focuses on building trusted relationships with investigators and stakeholders, delivering scientific exchange, and preparing sites and providers for potential launch. You will translate clinical data into insights, educate healthcare professionals on disease state and emerging data, and identify opportunities and barriers affecting adoption.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree with scientific rigor
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical care, or field-based roles within biotech/pharma
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Experience gathering and translating field insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (~60–80%) in a field-based role
• Experience within market access/payor landscape is preferred
• Candidates with prior field-based experience and a track record of driving scientific engagement may be considered at a higher level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and key stakeholders, supporting prelaunch readiness and product adoption.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on disease state, clinical data, and the ulixacaltimide profile.
• Educate clinical sites and healthcare providers for launch, including patient identification and integration into clinical practice.
• Proactively gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and emerging influencers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align on field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements, translating external insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain deep expertise in CNS/neurology to inform field strategy and monitor competitors.
• Ensure all field activities comply with regulatory requirements, GCP standards, and Praxis policies and SOPs.
