micro1 is seeking a remote Clinical Publications Author contractor to contribute to AI-assisted medical writing tools. You will author and review evaluation tasks, assess formatting and ethics alignment with ICMJE and CONSORT standards, and verify scientific accuracy across manuscripts, abstracts, and related materials.

You will provide structured rationale for each assessment and collaborate to refine evaluation criteria for publishing workflows within AI development teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of medical/scientific publication authoring experience.
• Direct lead-authoring or peer-reviewed manuscripts experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022, CONSORT guidelines.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical data and translate into publication-ready narratives.
• Exceptional written communication with actionable, structured feedback.
• Therapeutic area expertise in oncology, immunology, or rare diseases valued.

Responsibilities

• Author and review realistic evaluation tasks from manuscripts, abstracts, posters and decks.
• Assess alignment of AI-generated sections with formatting standards and ethics guidelines.
• Evaluate scientific accuracy and distinguish data interpretation from style choices.
• Trace publication claims to CSRs, protocols, and TFLs to ensure data grounding.
• Provide structured rationales for assessments to guide model improvement.
• Refine evaluation criteria and document best practices for scientific publishing workflows.
