Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (English, Communications, Public Health, Nursing or related).
• At least five years in medical writing, patient communications, or health literacy.
• Strong editing and proofreading ability.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex medical and policy content into patient-centered language.
• Check communications for CMS, NCQA, URAC, and state-mandate compliance.
• Maintain consistent tone, readability, and user experience across patient materials.
• Develop templates, style guides, and writing best practices.
• Capture, structure, and automate clinical knowledge with informatics and allied teams.
