Job summary

Jobot, a civil defense firm in Sacramento, is seeking a mid- to senior-level attorney with medical malpractice defense experience. This fully remote role requires CA licensure and offers an excellent benefits package. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 per year, with a performance bonus structure and profit sharing.

Experience in civil defense, strong litigation fundamentals, and the ability to handle a caseload with partner guidance are required. Periodic in-office presence may be needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of medical malpractice defense experience.
• Active California Bar license.
• Strong litigation fundamentals: drafting, discovery, depositions, and trial/hearing experience.
• Self-sufficient with ability to manage a caseload with partner guidance.
• Comfortable working remotely with periodic in-office presence.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice defense matters and general civil defense cases.
• Work directly with experienced trial partners who assign and supervise cases.
• This is a high-exposure, substantive litigation role with courtroom and deposition exposure from day one.
