This role oversees highly complex professional liability claims, coordinating investigations, coverage determinations, and settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years claims experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and CA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• CA Certification is required or preferred.
• Typically 3–5 years of claims experience.
• Solid knowledge of claims and insurance industry theory and practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of highly complex professional liability claims following company protocols.
• Conduct investigations and coordinate resolutions and disbursements within authority limits.
• Verify coverage and establish reserves, interpreting policy language with counsel as needed.
• Lead focused investigations to determine compensability, liability and damages.
• Develop and execute a claim resolution strategy with internal/external partners.
• Manage claim budgets and oversee resources to deliver high-quality service.
