Requirements

• Certification: Must be certified for medical interpretation (CCHI, NBCMI, or equivalent).
• Experience: 3 years of previous experience in medical or social service interpretation is preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional language proficiency in English and the target language. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and empathy.
• Technology: Proficient in using remote communication tools and platforms for interpretation services.
• Location: This position is fully remote and requires a stable internet connection.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Pay Rate Range

Scope of Work:
The Remote Medical Interpreter provides high-quality, accurate, and timely interpretation services to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Limited English Proficient (LEP) patients. This position is conducted remotely via phone or video calls.
