Job summary

Rythm Health, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Hardware Engineer with medical device experience to take ideas from concept to production-ready parts.

You will design 3D models, run mold-flow analyses, build prototypes, and collaborate with design and manufacturing to ensure robust, manufacturable products. You will own projects end-to-end, iterate based on testing feedback, and balance design intent with manufacturing constraints.

Qualifications

• Required: hands-on experience designing medical-grade products or medical devices.
• 7–10 years of experience in product engineering or physical product design.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
• Hands-on experience designing parts and molds for injection molding.
• Experience running mold flow analysis and using the results to improve a design.
• A portfolio or examples of products you've designed and taken into production, with a clear explanation of your contribution.
• Experience building mockups and prototypes and guiding a product through many rounds of iteration.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas into designs and develop them into detailed 3D models with a clear path to production.
• Translate design intent into precise, buildable engineering.
• Design for manufacturing with injections molding considerations from the start.
• Design molds for injection molding and refine tooling details.
• Run mold flow analyses and use results to optimize designs.
• Prototype and mock up designs to enable early testing and feedback.
• Own projects from concept through revisions and validation to production-ready designs.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to ensure production viability and quality.
