The role focuses on understanding monthly revenue and medical cost composition, variance drivers, and value-based program analytics, with coordination of MOR and partner presentations. Strong Excel, SQL, and FP&A skills are essential to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of experience in health care/managed care with FP&A and/or Medical Cost Management and Analysis.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Experience collaborating with Analytics, Actuaries, and FP&A to develop skills in medical cost analysis and market segments.
• Knowledge of commercial and Medicare markets and products; familiarity with healthcare industry operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly reporting for HCM P&L performance, including variance, revenue, and cost analysis.
• Coordinate the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) and present key metrics to leadership.
• Analyze medical cost drivers, utilization, unit cost, and program impact in value-based care.
• Support Value Based Program analytics with data extraction, modeling, and presentation design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and ROI.
