Humana is seeking a Medical Coding Coordinator for a remote role spanning the United States. You will extract clinical information, assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, and support internal requests with accuracy and initiative.

Responsibilities include analyzing medical records, coding, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliant documentation. The role requires CPC certification and 3+ years of certified medical coding experience, with familiarity in Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and MS Office

Qualificações

• CPC certification required (AAPC CPC)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Certified Medical Coder
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid coding guidelines
• Strong data entry and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, Outlook and Teams

Responsabilidades

• Extract clinical information from medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Analyze, enter and manipulate databases and respond to internal requests
• Exercise discretion in prioritizing requests and conforming to procedures
• Work with limited guidance due to experience and knowledge of administrative processes
