The position is remote, with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. Strong CPT/HCPCS knowledge, and experience with operative reports and infusional coding are required.

Qualifications

• CPC, COC, CCS, ROCC, RHIA, or RHIT certification with 3+ years post-certification experience.
• Strong CPT/HCPCS coding knowledge and experience reading/ coding from operative reports.
• Experience with chemotherapy and/or therapeutic infusion coding.

Responsibilities

• Review medical claims against medical records to ensure accurate coding per ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
• Analyze, enter, and manipulate database; respond to internal requests for medical information.
• Make independent determinations and manage multiple priorities in a production-based environment.
