Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract Medical Coder to review patient records and translate information into accurate ICD-10, CPT-4, and other codes for insurance claims. The role is fully remote, with a pay range of $25.00–$35.00 per hour, and requires Certification (CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA or equivalent) within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified coder (CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, or appropriate AAPC specialty certifications) at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
• Strong coding expertise with solid medical terminology knowledge and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team player with active listening and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
