Job summary

HCSC in Houston, TX is seeking a claims processor to handle complex medical claims under supervision, coordinating benefits and resolving pended claims.

Starting on-site in our Houston office, after 7 weeks of training the role will move to a work-from-home arrangement with a Mon-Fri schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Sponsorship is not available for this role. Compensation ranges from $17.75 to $26.17 per hour, depending on skills, experience and location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Data entry and typing experience is required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience processing medical claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, processes complex medical claims requiring further investigation.
• Coordinates benefits and resolves pended claims as part of the workflow.
